Wileyfox Storm is now available to buy in the UK

Prior to Wileyfox’s August 25 reveal, no one had heard of the British smartphone start-up.

But the fledgling manufacturer has just officially launched its second ever smartphone – the Wileyfox Storm.

Announced alongside the Wileyfox Swift earlier this year, the Wileyfox Storm is the company’s most high-end handset.

Wileyfox is peddling the device through its online store, as well as through retailers like Amazon, Argos, Ebuyer, Expansys, and Clove – the latter listed the device two days ago.

The Wileyfox Storm, which retails at £199, features a 5.5-inch Full HD display.

It also boasts an octa-core 64-bit Snapdragon 615 chipset, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage.

There’s a 20-megapixel image sensor on the back of the device, and an 8-megapixel front-facing selfie cam.

The handset runs on Google’s Android 5.1 Lollipop, but comes skinned with Cyanogen’s OS 12.1

Other features include 4G/LTE connectivity, a MicroSD slot, a 2,500mAh battery,  and Bluetooth 4.0.
