Want to watch 2016/17 Premier League matches for free? You might not have to go rogue, following a partnership between EE and BT Sport. Here's how to stream next season's football for free.

Thanks to a new deal struck between the two parties, EE customers will be able to stream BT Sport channels to their smartphones and tablets for free using 4G or Wi-Fi.

The offer is good for the first six months of the new season and will give you access to 42 Premier League matches, plus the UEFA Champions League and Europa League.

Additional sport is also available for nought in the form of Aviva Premiership Rugby and MotoGP.

All EE subscribers will need to do is download the BT Sport app to enjoy live and catch-up football on their devices.

Announcing the news, EE CEO Marc Allera said:

"Our customers have been telling us that they are watching more and more sport on the go. Now, as part of the BT Group, we are able to offer customers the chance to watch the very best in live domestic and European sport."

Once the free six month deal ends in early-2017, EE customers wanting to keep it legal will be able to access the sporty content on their devices for £5 a month.
