Watch Game of Thrones’ Kit Harington perform in the new Call of Duty

With Game of Thrones on hiatus until next summer, our next fix of the man who plays the brand new King in the North Jon Snow will come through video games.

British actor Kit Harington is starring in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare as a commander of the enemy Settlement Defence Front faction.

After seeing still shots of Harrington’s mo-capped turn last month, new video of the performance has emerged courtesy of the official Call of Duty Twitter account and BBC Newsbeat.

Identifying himself as Admiral Salen Kotch of the Olympus Mons, which is the largest ship in the SDF fleet, Harrington sounds little like the gruff northerner he portrays in GoT.

“All Sato forces are ordered to lay down arms and surrender to the Settlement Defene Front,” he barks in the tones of an English military nobleman.

“My take on Admiral Koch is he has an element of the dictator about him,” Harington said in the video.

“He’s an invading commander; he’s someone who wants to control the whole race of people and feels that he’s entitled to do that. He’s also not afraid of death. That makes him incredibly terrifying. He’s a madman; I found that very fun to play.”

The new clip is likely to earn a more positive reception than the game’s first trailer, which was the most disliked video in the history of YouTube.

Infinite Warfare has been criticised by fans for transporting the series far into the future, with battles taking place in space rather than on earth.

The game will be released on November 4.
