Vodafone takes on Motorola with £135 Moto G rival

Vodafone sells plenty of third-party devices, but it also has a respectable roster of own-brand smartphones. Today, a new one arrived.

Vodafone today launched the Smart Ultra 7, a new low-end smartphone aiming to loosen the purse-strings of budget-conscious buyers. The handset is priced at just £135 on Pay-As-You-Go, which puts it in direct competition with budget rivals like Motorola’s Moto G.

The phone features a 5.5-inch Full HD display, and an octa-core processor built by MediaTek. It also sports a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel secondary camera. Other features include 2GB RAM, a 2,960mAh battery, and Google’s Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
