The cinematic opening sequence for Destiny's The Dark Below downloadable content has leaked online.
Update: Activision has now pulled the video from YouTube so if you haven't seen it you will have to wait until December 9th to see more.
The intro apparently appeared "due to an error", according to "Mr Jester6598", the YouTube user who uploaded the clip.
A character called Eris voices the clip. She is the only survivor from a team of six who entered "The Pit". It's thought this will form the intro to a six-man raid.
At the end of the clip is a description of your first task: "Eris Morn has landed in the Tower with fears of recent Hive activity. Something is waking on the Moon. Help her stop the rise of Crota."
The Dark Below is the first downloadable content expansion for Destiny. It's due to touch down on December 9, and will be followed by another expansion called House of Wolves, about which little is known.
The Dark Below will include a new raid mission, three new story missions, and one new strike (though PlayStation owners will get two). It'll also bring new types of guns, armour and gear, a level cap of 32, and three new Crucible maps.
The Dark Below will cost £19.99, or you can buy it with House of Wolves in the Destiny Expansion Pass, which will set you back £34.99.
Destiny was released in September. It's a first-person shooter, but also includes elements of role-playing and massively multiplayer online games. It's developed by Bungie (the people behind Halo) and published by Activision.
