E3 2012 is long gone and we've all had time to daydream about all the games we saw at the show. There's a long wait ahead for some of 'em, such as Naughty Dog's The Last of Us, but we think you'll agree it'll be worth it. Watch the video below for more.

The Last of Us is a brutal survival-themed adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic world, where once-great cities have started to crumble, being reclaimed by nature. An action adventure from the makers of Uncharted, you can expect a great story. Its starring characters make an unlikely pairing - a 14 year-old girl and a grizzled "anti-hero" called Joel. Also due out next year, Crysis 3 is a first-person shooter set in - surprisingly enough - a comparable setting. Cities full of thick vegetation will become your stalking ground, offering a balance of open-world and taught shooter gameplay. (read our full preview)

Closer to release, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is the one game here that's a guaranteed 100 per cent success. 2012 will also see the return of Halo, with Halo 4. Master Chief is back in the driving seat this time, although original developer Bungie has flown the coop, leaving 343 Industries in charge. Another popular series set for a revamp is Forza. Forza Horizon takes the serious driving models that made the series so popular and plonks it into an open-world structure. We like to think of it as Test Drive: Unlimited, done right. Due out this October, there's not too long to wait, either. (read our full preview)

One of the most exciting games of the lot is Watch Dogs. This Ubisoft title looks so good that many at E3 2012 thought it was set to come out on next-gen consoles. An Xbox 720 opener? What do you think? Have a gander at the video below for more. (read our full preview)
