The Google Nexus 7 is perhaps the most important tablet we're likely to see this year, assuming the iPad mini doesn't show up this September. It's a low-cost 7in Android tablet that has pulled many eyes away from the iPad. But is it really better?
In many respects they're very different devices. One is fairly small, the other larger - too large to use comfortably in one hand. And, of course, they run completely different software. The £399 iPad has iOS, while the £199 Nexus 7 debuts Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
