Sony has confirmed the price and release date of the PS4 version of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter.
The completely rebuilt PS4 version of the Vanishing Carter will arrive on PS4 on Wednesday, July 15.
The game, as listed on the PlayStation Network pre-order page, will retail for £13.94 when it is released next week.
Rather than simply porting the PC version of the game, developer The Astronauts has rebuilt the game so that it feels better to play on console.
In fact, the PS4 version of Ethan Carter has been rebuilt in Unreal Engine 4, which will be offered for free to owners of the existing PC game at an unknown point in the future.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter is a first-person story-driven mystery game focused on exploration and discovery.
You play as Paul Prospero, an accult-minded detective who receives a letter from the titular Ethan Carter and realises the boy is in grave danger.
The game is set in a beautiful forested area that you’ll need to spend time exploring and picking apart, all at your own pace and discretion.
