Here's everything you need to know to watch the PGA Championship 2016 online.

The US PGA is one of golf's biggest events, with some of the world's top-ranked golfers having claimed the trophy in previous years.

This year it looks like Dustin Johnson is favourite to take home the win, although he'll face stiff competition from Rory McIlroy and current champion Jason Day.

In the UK Sky owns the rights to this year's competition, and there's plenty of coverage to tune into:

Thursday July 28 – 6pm-midnight, Sky Sports 4

Friday July 29 – 6pm-midnight, Sky Sports 4

Saturday July 30 – 4pm-midnight, Sky Sports 4

Sunday July 31 – 4pm-12.30am, Sky Sports 4

There's also a highlights show which packs the best of the action into a two hour slot:

Friday Jul 29 – 11am-1pm and 3pm-5pm, Sky Sports 4

Saturday July 30 – 10am-12pm, Sky Sports 4

Sunday July 31 – 10am-12pm and 2pm-4pm, Sky Sports 4

Monday August 1 – 8.30am-10.30am, 12pm-2pm, 4pm-6pm and 8pm-10pm, Sky Sports 4

Sky Sports subscribers need to tap in to the broadcaster's Sky Go online service to watch the action via the internet. It's far from free, but assuming you have a subscription, just head to the Sky Go site, login, and enjoy live coverage on your PC.

Alternatively, download the Sky Go or Sky Sports Mobile app for your mobile device and tune in on-the-go.

Sky GO: Android | iOS

Sky Sports Mobile: Android | iOS

Don't have Sky Sports? No problem. If you want to follow all the action in real-time, you can purchase a daily or weekly Sky Sports pass via NOW TV.

A weekly Sky Sports pass costs £10.99, and the normal price of a day pass is £6.99, making the weekly pass much better value, even if you only want to watch the final two rounds.

In the States, CBS and TNT appear to be the only channels showing the PGA Championship, but if you head over to the official PGA site it looks like you can stream the whole affair free just by entering an email and zip code, or by signing up with a social media profile.

Enjoy the golf this weekend!
