Unravel announced as brand new EA IP

EA Games has announced a brand new IP called Unravel during its E3 2015 press conference

In development at a small studio in Sweden, Unravel has arrived out of a need to make things a bit more personal.

This puzzle-platformer follows a small creature made out of wool. Red wool in fact. Apparently the yarn represents love and the bonds that connects us.

Unravel will require you to work out which route to take. You might just need to use your yarn to swing across a gap, but the puzzles will become a lot more complicated than that as the game progresses.

The game takes place on a small scale, with our little woollen hero being attacked by moles and birds as he makes his journey.

He has to utilise a fish or two to drag his raft across a waterway.

There’s no word on an Unravel release date as yet, but we’re hoping it’ll be a nice family friendly title to combat the AAA games this Christmas.
