Film downloads over Xbox Live in the UK are just a little bit weak compared to the service in the US, but a deal with Universal Pictures to bring the label’s films to the service should help close the gap just a little. The announcement will see 30 titles available immediately, with more scheduled to come at a later date and on a regular basis.
Of the 30 plus titles available now, recent releases available include Wanted, The Incredible Hulk and Hellboy II There’s also a range of classic films, including Scarface, Weird Science and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
Titles will be available in both standard definition, and high definition at 360 MS Points and 540 Ms Points a piece respectively for new releases. Older content will be 250 MS Points in SD and 380 MS Points in HD.
