Uncharted 4 already being sold in the UK

Uncharted 4 multiplayer 19

Uncharted 4 is already in the hands of consumers with retailers selling the game two weeks ahead of its official release date.

Reports began surfacing overnight from PCGames.de and ThisGenGaming.com of people receiving dispatch emails from Amazon, despite the game not set to launch until May 10.

VideoGamer has also spoke to one consumer, Shabz, who has been into one UK-based CEX and been able to purchase a physical copy of the game.

"I went in to CEX... to actually buy myself a camera lens," Shabz said, "and when I went to the counter to purchase the lens I saw behind the shop assistant that there was Uncharted 4 so as a try I said can I also get a copy of Uncharted 4, he just picked it up and rang it through the till. The game cost £55."

Shabz provided an image of his receipt to prove he has the game:

Multiplayer is currently unavailable to play, presumably as servers aren’t switched on yet.

Interestingly, today is the day Uncharted 4 was originally scheduled to go on sale, before its delay. Sony and Naughty Dog will no doubt be unhappy with the early sales of one of the year’s biggest releases.
