UK Game Releases This Week: Beyond: Two Souls and Bloodborne: The Old Hunters coming to PS4

It’s a week of remasters, expansions and giant, adorable amiibo.

Beyond: Two Souls is releasing digitally for PS4 alongside Bloodborne: The Old Hunters, an all new expansion for From Software’s morbid masterpiece. Nintendo is also set to unleash its most adorable and giant amiibo yet, and we can’t wait to get our hands on it.

Beyond: Two Souls (PS4)

Ellen Page and Willem “Green Goblin” Dafoe star in this supernatural drama by David Cage, the unusual mind behind titles such as Heavy Rain and Fahrenheit. Previously exclusive to PS3, this PS4 release features a host of visual improvements including motion blur, depth of field and a 1080p resolution. The remastered edition also comes with a more intense difficulty setting and additional DLC.

Bloodborne: The Old Hunters (PS4)

Are you ready for more Bloodborne? The morbid, grotesque and utterly fascinating world of Yarnham is set to expand further with The Old Hunters, which will introduce new areas, enemies and weapons to the game. The Old Hunters is set in a nightmarish world where hunters find themselves trapped forever, and you must navigate it best you can. The expansion will available on the Playstation Store, or as part of Bloodborne’s GOTY edition.

Mega Yarn Yoshi Amiibo  (Nintendo Wii U)

Amiibo fever is showing no signs of slowing down, and Nintendo is happy to tempt us with more and more pointless plastic figurines. The Yarn Yoshi, however, is a completely different beast. The Mega Yarn Yoshi Amiibo is giant, adorable and pretty expensive; retailing for roughly £34.99 in the UK. Chances are this amiibo is going to become pretty rare, so we’d act fast if you want to get your hands on one.
