Twitter has announced the ability to edit the length of time its recently-added polls can run for.
The feature, released to the public in October last year, had limited users to adding 24-hour polls. Now they can last for as little as five minutes or as long as 7 days.
The feature has been steadily evolving since the launch and now offers multiple choices rather than just two initially.
Polls are proving as success for Twitter, which recently announced it had racked up 1.7 votes since October.
It offers a great chance for regular users, celebrities, publishers and brands to canvas the opinions of followers. It certainly beats sifting through the mentions, that’s for sure.
The new variable time limit enables varying results based on knee-jerk reactions or considered response.
