TrustedReviews' Christmas Wishlist 2011

We've spent 364 days of the year looking for the best technology, from laptops to camera, projectors to smartphones and everything in between but all the while the best technology was in our hearts.

OK, maybe not, but we assembled the TrustedReviews team before we headed off on our holidays to share what we wanted for Christmas. The only rules were that two have to be actual products, and one could be a money-can't-buy gift that we either wished existed or would have you guessing if we started on the port a little too early.

So Naughty List permitting, here's what some of the staff would like this Christmas. Happy Christmas from all the team at TrustedReviews and thanks to all our readers in 2011.

I doubt that the yacht has 100,000 kgs of gold plating. It should only need about 250g to plate something the size of a yacht.

I was skeptical too but that's what the site says. Bear in mind, when the company does gold and platinum computers and phones, it doesn't plate them but actually makes the chassis out of solid metal (again so it says). Quite how that doesn't complete destroy their ability to work, I don't know, but clearly there's some sort of market for them. As an example the Platinum 13in MacBook Air weighs 7kg and costs... &#163319,995!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What was I thinking. &#163319,995 is nothing. How about a Gold, ammolite, TRex bone, and diamond iPad for &#1635,000,000?
