Tony Hawk 5 for PS3 and Xbox 360 exclusive to GAME

Update: Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 for Xbox 360 and PS3 will be exclusive to GAME.

Activision has confirmed that GAME will be the exclusive retailer for Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 for Xbox 360 and PS3.

“Skateboarding has always been about the freedom of ripping with your friends, and creating a game that captures that feeling has been a vision of mine since the Pro Skater series began over 15 years ago,” said Tony Hawk.

“I’m beyond excited to see that dream finally come true with Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5, which takes the old-school attitude of the original games online in a big way.”

Original Story: It’s not a joke, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 is set for an official release later this year thanks to Activision and developers Robomodo and Disruptive Games.

A true sequel to the Tony Hawk Pro Skater franchise, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5, is due to be released later this year for Xbox One and PS4.

There will also be PS3 and Xbox 360 versions released a little later.

According to a report from GameInformer, Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 will take the franchise back to its roots, featuring precision controls, new power-ups and apparently the option to shoot projectiles in certain missions.

Tony Hawk 5 will introduce a new set of levels that are filled with various objectives and missions that you can tackle solo or with friends via online and offline co-op.

The game’s online portions are completely seamless within the game, meaning you can allow your buddies to join you whatever you’re doing.

You can also create your own skateparks and share them with the online community.

Skaters will include the likes of Nyjah Huston, Aaron Homoki, Ishod Wait, Riley Hawk, Lizzie Armanto, Chris Cole, David Gonzalez, Leticia Bufoni and Andrew Reynolds.
