Tmouse is a deformable mouse that gives two grip methods

Most of us use our mice most of our working days, so it makes sense to have more than one option when it comes to holding it. That’s the principle behind the Tmouse.

It’s touted as the world’s first deformable mouse. That means you can use it as a normal mouse, or transform it into a shorter mouse that you grip as if you were making a fist.

It’s quick to transform, too. Just take off the palm rest, and move the slider forwards or backwards.

It has the usual left and right buttons, plus a middle button. A touch bar replaces the wheel, so you shouldn’t get a load of gunk caught in it like with the old iMac ones. There’s also a DPI button and forward and back buttons.

So why would you need a mouse that offers two kinds of grip? It’s claimed it will help relieve fatigue by letting you change the shape of your hand when using it. If you’re trudging through a long day in front of the screen, switch the mouse mode and your hand won’t get tired as quickly.

It’s raised almost 10 times its funding goal and has just over a day to go until the campaign closes. Pledge $59 (£41) and it can be yours when it ships in August. It comes in black or white.
