Titanfall Xbox One console teased but you can’t buy one

A Titanfall themed Xbox One console has been shown off by developer Respawn, sadly though you’re not going to be able to buy one.

Tormenting us and avid gamers around the globe, Respawn Entertainment has tweeted a teasing image of the awesomely skinned Titanfall Xbox One console before cruly pulling it away by revealing it will not be getting a consumer release.

Almost hate to post this ’cause they aren’t for sale but Xbox brought our studio something amazing today,” a heartless member of the Respawn team posted on the company’s official Twitter feed.

Although the Titanfall console will not be making it to retailer’s shelves, Microsoft recently made an official Titanfall Xbox One controller available for pre-order, featuring a similar orange and black colour scheme to the specially themed PS4 rival.

Despite the specially skinned console not heading to retail, Microsoft has made a Titanfall Xbox One bundle available, with the standard black console set to be boxed with a copy of the game.

Following last week’s official Xbox One price cut, the Titanfall bundle will set wannabe owners back just £399.

A Microsoft exclusive title, a Titanfall release date has been set for next Friday, March 14.
