Titanfall Xbox 360 copies released early, but you can’t play it yet
Copies of Titanfall Xbox 360 have been released early by retailers, well before the game is actually ready for retailers.
The actual Titanfall Xbox 360 release date won’t arrive until April 11, but that hasn’t stopped some retailers selling the game a little prematurely.
Several images of the Xbox 360 Titanfall box have been published on the Titanfall Blog, showing a French copy of the online shooter.
The game box reveals that the Xbox 360 version will require a mandatory 1GB install before you can start playing.
It also seems that a Brazilian game store has also been stocking the game a little too early, according to a thread on Twitter.
The official Titanfall Twitter feed even got involved in that one, asking where the user got their 360 copy of the game from.
If you manage to get your mitts on a copy of Titanfall for the Xbox 360 before that April 11 release date, you won’t actually be able to play it whatsoever.
Developer Bluepoint Games won’t be switching on the game’s servers until the title actually launches next Friday.
Titanfall was originally meant to be released on the Xbox 360 on March 28 in the UK, but has now been postponed to April 11.
“I’ve been playing the game a lot, and it is fantastic. But we see a few things that can be made even better, so we’re giving Bluepoint a little more time to do just that and deliver and epic Titanfall experience for Xbox 360 players,” said EA Games Executive VP, Patrick Soderlund. “The game will feature the same 6×6 gameplay, maps, modes, weapons and Burn Cards as the Xbox One and PC versions of the game.”
The Xbox One and PC versions are been made by Respawn Entertainment and was released on March 13.
