Titanfall: Deluxe Edition announced for PC and Xbox One

EA and Respawn have announced a new Deluxe Edition of Titanfall, which includes all of the downloadable content currently available.

The new version of the game, which is available cheaper than the original, is up for grabs on the Windows PC platform from today, while the Xbox One version goes on sale on November 25 from the Xbox Store.

It’ll come bundled with three DLC packs, IMC Rising, Frontier’s Edge and Expedition. The Deluxe Edition also features the four player cooperative Frontier Defense mode, which has been added to the game since launch.

Considering all DLC will come with the new digital game, the re-release represents a great deal for gamers. It’ll be priced at $40 for the PC version and $50 for the Xbox One version. The European prices have yet to be revealed, while it also doesn’t seem as though Xbox 360 gamers will have access.

The exclusive-to-Microsoft sci-fi shooter from the makers of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare franchise was launched this spring and was billed as the truly compelling reason to buy the next-gem Xbox One console.

It received rave reviews, including a 9/10 from Trusted Reviews, for its fast and fluid gameplay, addictive action and accessible difficulty levels.

“Titanfall might not look or always seem that revolutionary, but it is a transformative online FPS in its own special way. We’ve never seen an FPS that combines two scales of action so successfully, nor one with such speed and fluidity of movement,” our reviewer Stuart Andrews wrote.

EA has already confirmed Titanfall 2, but this time PlayStation gamers may be able to get in on the action.
