Titanfall beta release date confirmed as registration opens

The Titanfall beta release date has been confirmed for this Friday, February 14, with developer Respawn revealing registration for the pre-release content is now open.

Giving eager games an action packed Valentine ’s Day present, the Titanfall beta will launch in just a matter of days, with impatient Xbox One and PC gamers already able to register their interest in receiving one of the coveted pass keys for the beta launch.

While successful registrations will start receiving their Titanfall beta keys on Friday, Respawn has confirmed that the seeding process will continue until next Monday, February 17. Sadly, if you haven’t received a key by then your luck is out.

With the Titanfall release date set for March 14 on Xbox One and PC, the upcoming Titanfall beta will give chosen gamers a little under a month’s early access to the futuristic first-person shooter.

With Respawn having last week confirmed that the Titanfall Xbox 360 launch had been delayed by two weeks until March 28, the company has now revealed that users of Microsoft’s aging console will not be offered any beta access.

Confirmed via the game’s official site, registration for the Titanfall beta couldn’t be simpler, with gamers simply required to select their preferred platform – Xbox One or PC, and sign-up to the title’s newsletter.

“To register for the Titanfall Beta you must subscribe to the Titanfall newsletter,” the developer confirmed.

A Respawn spokesperson added: “Completing this registration does not guarantee access into the Titanfall Beta as seats are limited.

“If you have been selected you will be emailed directly by EA with instructions on how to access the game no later than 11:59 PM PST on Feb 17th. Origin Account required for PC Beta.”
