Titanfall beta details to be confirmed next week says developer

Ahead of next month’s release, developer Respawn has confirmed that new details on the upcoming Titanfall beta will be announced in the coming days.

With a Titanfall beta set to be made available for ultra-eager Xbox One and PC gamers, the game’s developer has confirmed that further details on the pre-release access will be announced ‘early next week’.

Although Respawn has remained coy on what further details expectant gamers can expect, it is believed the company will reveal when exactly the Titanfall beta will be released and how wannabe users can sign up to gain access to the early look.

Hey, we love all your excitement about the beta, news will be coming early next week!” the developer has teased via its official Twitter feed.

While Respawn has teased the upcoming Titanfall beta, it is not all good news for gaming fans, with publisher EA last night having confirmed that the Titanfall Xbox 360 release is facing a new wave of delays.

With the Xbox One and PC Titanfall release set to hit UK retailers on March 13, the Xbox 360 edition of the game has been pushed back two weeks, with a March 28 launch now being offered to users of Microsoft’s superseded console.

“To give them the time they need to put the finishing touches on the current-gen version of the game, we are moving the Xbox 360 ship date to March 25 in North America and March 28 in Europe,” an official EA statement read.

The spokesperson added: “The extra two weeks will ensure the full world of Xbox gamers have an awesome experience.”
