Titanfall 2 will not be coming to EA Access at launch

Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall 2 will not be part of EA/Origin Access when it launches on October 28, Electronic Arts has confirmed.

Major titles published by EA are normally subject to some kind of free trial on the service, but it seems Titanfall 2 is exempt from this benefit.

This means that members of the service won’t be able to play the game early or for free for a select period of time like they could with Mirror’s Edge Catalyst and Need for Speed.

Members will also miss out on the 10 percent discount other games benefit from on the service, as Titanfall 2 is nowhere to be seen as of yet.

Respawn told Game Reactor that Titanfall 2 could very well join the service in the future, but stated it will not be present at launch.

This could be due to the fact that Titanfall 2 is no longer exclusive to Xbox One and PC like its predecessor, and is now coming to PS4 as well.

Two multiplayer technical tests were held for Titanfall 2 last month, resulting in plentiful amounts of fan feedback leading to major changes to the game.

Titanfall 2 will launch for PS4, Xbox One and PC on October 28.
