Three confirms iPad mini 2 prices ahead of Friday rollout

Network provider Three has announced its iPad mini 2 prices and tariffs ahead of its plans to stock the new, Retina display hosting tablet from this Friday, November 15.

With the iPad mini 2 having gone on sale through the Apple Online Store yesterday, November 12, Three has now announced its intentions to sell the device, with the network’s iPad mini 2 tariffs to see the Google Nexus 7 tablet made available across a selection of 24 months deals.

Set to be available on a two year-data plan or a rolling one-month contract, Three’s iPad mini 2 deals will see the network stock the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage iterations of the tablet.

With all deals coming with a 15GB monthly data allowance, the 16GB iPad mini 2 through Three will set wannabe owners back £129 up front on a £25 per month deal, or £29 per month with a one off £79 charge.

Moving on to the larger storage capacities, while the same deals for the 32GB model will incur £199 and £149 up-front fees respectively, those after the 64GB model will need to pay either £269 or £219 to secure their 3G capable tablets.

With the tablet’s able to be bought outright, the trio of storage options are priced identically to their Apple store listings, with the 16GB, 32GB and 64GB models costing £419, £499 and £579 respectively.

Each of these options are available with a range of one-month rolling contracts. Where a £7.50 monthly fee will see users rewarded with a 1GB data allowance, a £15 charge will see the data limit jump to 10GB.

The iPad mini 2 builds on the strong foundations of Apple’s original 7-inch tablet, adding a Retiina display and the iPhone 5S introduced 64-bit A7 processor alongside the new iOS 7 operating system and a slimline, brushed metal design.
