Thomas Was Alone comes to iPad

Thomas Was Alone has finally arrived on the iPad following critical acclaim on the PC, Mac and PlayStation Network.

The iPad port has been developed in conjunction with creator Mike Bithell and developer Bossa Studios for the iPad Mini 2 and iPad Air among other Apple tablet models.

This is the first time the BAFTA award-winning game has been offered on a touchscreen platform, having already been made available on the PS Vita and PS3 following its success on the PC and Mac.

“I’m honestly still a bit surprised that Thomas Was Alone has found the audience and critical reception it has,” said Mike Bithell, the game’s creator. “I’m really happy to be releasing a solid version of the game on iPad with the help of the talented folk at Bossa Studios.”

Thomas Was Alone features narration by Danny Wallace of XFM, Yes Man and Assassin’s Creed fame and a soundtrack by David Housden.

“I’m proud that Bossa is bringing this immense indie success to millions of new fans on the iPad,” added Imre Jele, co-founder of Bossa Studios. “Thomas Was Alone genuinely feels more personal and intimate on a touchscreen device. There’s now an instant connection between you and the lovingly crafted characters of Mike’s powerful narrative.”

The game is available now on the App Store for £5.99 as well as on the Mac App Store for the same price.
