This Witcher 3 PC mod can turn your horse into a Wraith

An awesome new Witcher 3 PC mod can turn your trusty steed Roach into a Wraith, skeleton or a funky zebra.

Your equine companion in Witcher 3, Roach, is a wonderful horse, even if he is prone to the odd glitch.

But, if you’re not quite satisfied with the way he looks, there’s a brand new PC mod that lets you switch up his coat colours and skins.

A brand new Witcher 3 PC mod from Nexusmods user Feradiera lets you change Roach’s colour from more traditional horsey hues to some more outlandish options.

That includes the ability to equip your Roach with a zebra-style “Zorse” or even a Halloween-inspired skeleton costume.

But our particular favourite is a creepy Wraith design, which you can see above.

More traditional colour options for Roach with this mod include black and grey, dark pinto, black, white, red, dapple grey and others.

Feradiera also states that he is adding new options in the future, including palomino, a variety of dapples, individual mane and tail colours, “original special and spooky horses”, horses with war paint and fantasy hybrids.

You can download the mods now from Nexusmods, along with a mod to change the colour of your horse’s eyes.

The Witcher 3 mod tools were released in August, but have been criticised by fans for their lack of depth.

CD Projekt Red has said it has no plans to ever release the full Witcher REDkit publicly, so these may be the only Witcher 3 mod tools we ever get.

These tools are only available via PC, although CD Projekt Red has said it would one day like to bring them to console.
