This Nespresso coffee machine will save you loads of time – and it's cheaper than ever

Want a great cup of coffee, but hate standing around grinding beans and waiting for it to brew in the old French press? Well, here's your solution - the Nespresso Pixie coffee machine is available for half price in the UK for a limited time.

Amazon UK is listing a deal from the manufacturer for just £69.99, down from the regular retail price of £139.99

Last year, a slightly different version of the Nespresso Pixie earned a commendable four star review from TrustedReviews, so it's certainly no weak cup of Joe.

Deal: Get a half-price Nespresso Pixie from Amazon

It offers a 700ml capacity, removable tank and heat-up time is under 30-seconds. The compact 11cm wide design is constructed from stainless steel and is available in electric red and titanium colour schemes.

The one-touch buttons also enable you to choose between espresso and long coffee, while there’s also an empty water tank alert.

While the Pixie looks like the best deal, the promotion also extends to other devices in the range. The Nespresso Inissia is also £25 off at 64.99.

The deal begins today and lasts until October 31, so there’s plenty of time for you to jump aboard.

Awesome. Nothing like sipping a coffee while you destroy the planet.

They are certainly ultra easy and convenient. However like you I worry about the waste.

There is really not that much 'work' involved in using a normal espresso machine with a scoop of ground coffee, and if that really is too onerous then ESE pods are almost as simple as Nespresso, without the landfill.

You can recycle the Nespresso Pods yourself using the Nessie Press from www.nessiepress.com

And actually, I've just remembered, the ESE pods come individually wrapped in a plastic/foil laminate - not so environmental! I'll stick with ground coffee.
