If you own an iPad with cellular connectivity, choosing the right data plan can be tricky. Wi-Fi is remarkably abundant and most users have a data-enabled phone on them at all times, making an additional plan an unjustifiable expense.
However, in those times of need, wouldn’t it just be nice to grab an hour of data here and there without handing over £20 a month?
Well global data provider Otono have unveiled new AlwaysOnline UK-based plans that enable users to purchase 4G data by the hour from just 37p per 100MB.

The company, which specializes in short term plans for international travel, has teamed up with Three UK to offer the data plans for owners of iPads compatible with the network-agnostic Apple SIM.

A day rate of £4.50 gets users 500MB, while 1GB (£8.26), 3GB (£14.28) and 5GB (£22.55) plans can be used over the course 15 days.
Compatible iPads are the 9.7-inch iPad Pro, 12.9-inch iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad mini 3 and iPad mini 4 Wi-Fi + Cellular models and users can sign up though the cellular section of the Settings app.
