The Walking Dead: A New Frontier episode 4 coming next week

The fourth episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier launches for PS4, Xbox One, PC, iOS and Android on April 25, Telltale Games has announced.

‘Thicker Than Water’ is the penultimate episode in the five part series, continuing the bleak story of Clementine and friends as they try to survive in a zombie-infested world.

Today’s upcoming trailer will likely tease some of the dramatic events to come, some of which can be drawn from the newly released teaser image.

This is a surprisingly quick turnaround for Telltale’s episodic endeavours. A New Frontier’s third episode took four months to launch after the double bill premiere in December 2016.

The Walking Dead: A New Frontier has proven to be some of Telltale’s strongest stuff since the first season debuted in 2012. Clementine is growing into a hugely capable heroine with a great supporting cast to back her up.

“We’re used to cliffhanger endings, but Above The Law doesn’t end on a particularly good one – it fizzles out with a whimper. However, as far as mid-season episodes go it’s enjoyable overall, setting the tone for the final two episodes to come. There may be no surprises in the story here, but the personal conflicts more than make up for it; I’m excited to see how much more heartbreak they bring.” Kirk McKeand said in his 7/10 review of episode three.

If you can’t wait until the fourth episode drops next week, you can always try out the first part of Telltale’s Guardians of the Galaxy.
