The Sony PS4 just got the sharing feature it’s been missing all along
Sony has announced an update for the PS4’s Sharefactory, which now enables console owners to create and share animated GIFs from gameplay footage.
The GIFs can be up to 10 seconds long, can be annotated with the old faithful internet meme font and instantly shared on Twitter.

The update will also come in handy for PS4 Pro adopters thanks to the addition of 4K screenshots.There’s also a Photo Mode feature that will allow gamers to create collages from up to six photos.
Sony describes it as “a great way to show off some of your best Trophy and gaming moments. You can easily create custom photo collages with up to six photos. You can also utilize most of the existing filters and effects from Sharefactory to add to your photos.”
In terms of videos, videos will now export 20% faster and you’ll now be able to pan & zoom on gameplay videos.
