EA Games has shown off a live The Sims 4 gameplay demo during its GamesCom 2014 press conference.
Starting off with The Sims 4 Create a Sim, EA Games highlighted the well-known drag style creation tools. They decided to make an Angela Merkel Sim and then replicate EA Games COO Peter Moore.
Moving on from there, EA showed off how easy it is to pick up and move individual rooms or entire homes with the click of a button.
Build Mode also encorportates the new Gallery function, which lets you import fan created content directly into your game - whether that's rooms, Sims or lots.
As for Live Mode, there was a bizarre take on the Hunger Games, known as the Hungry Games, where one of the Sims drops dead from hunger.
We also got a good look at the new neighbours, which are looking a lot more lush and populated than the Sims 3.
At the top of Live Mode when you're exploring the Neighbourhood, you'll be presented with your Sim's current interactions or activities.
Your Sims will have specialised interactions available dependent on what mood they are in. For example, gloomy Sims can complain about their problems to their friends, while happy one can try and cheer them up.
One of the new items available in Buy Mode was shown off too. It is a gaming rig, which Sims can get into and have some holographic fun with.
For those looking to get a slice of the Sims 4 action right now, EA Games confirmed the Create a Sim demo is available to play for all PC gamers right now.
It can be downloaded from TheSims.com and any sims you made will be transported into your full Sims 4 experience.
