The Sims 4 coming to Mac in February
The Sims 4 is finally coming to Mac in February, EA Games has confirmed.
Five months after the game was released on PC, The Sims 4 will finally arrive for Mac gamers.
There’s no confirmed February date for the Mac port, but at least we know its release is on the imminent horizon at last.
According to EA Games speaking to Kotaku, the Mac version of The Sims 4 will be “priced similarly” to the PC version at launch.
But, anyone who currently owns the PC version of the game will get a copy of the Mac version for free.

EA Games was unable to confirm whether any future customers will be eligible for such a cross-buy bundle though.
The publisher was also unable to comment on whether you’d be able to sync up your PC and Mac versions of the game, such as is possible with Steam titles.
It would be great to be able to share households, Sims, lots and other game progress across both versions of the game.
We assume it will happen at some stage, otherwise why would current PC players make the move to Mac otherwise.
EA doesn’t currently make sharing Sims 4 progress across multiple PCs easy though, so it may not be a forthcoming feature.
The news of The Sims 4 coming to Mac will be a welcome joy to fans, many of whom have commented on our review to make their demands known.
We for one are very pleased with the news.
