The new Huawei Fit is like Pebble and Fitbit had a secret love child
As well as unveiling a would-be saviour for Samsung Galaxy Note 7 grievers earlier today, Huawei also made a play to track your workouts.
The Chinese firm revealed the Huawei Fit, which offers continuous heart-rate monitoring, sleep tracking and tracking specific to certain activities.
Other features include daily activity tracking, smartphone notifications and a real-time running coach.
There’s also a vibrating alert that will tell you when your heart rate reaches a “designated high threshold.” This, Huawei says, will help wearers avoid over-training.
There’s also 5ATM water resistance for pool swimming support.
Using the companion app users will be able to set customizable running plans based on distance, goals and frequency.
The Huawei Fit can be purchased today from $130 in the United States. UK price and release date are yet to be revealed.
