Services such as Steam, Xbox Live and PSN will hold platform specific sales on digital titles throughout the event.

You should be able to grab a few bargains on nominated titles if you’re lucky, however none of this has been confirmed.

The awards advisory board includes EA COO Peter Moore, Activision Publishing CEO Eric Hirshberg, Hideo Kojima, Xbox boss Phil Spencer, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime, Sony Computer Entertainment America CEO Shawn Layden, Ubisoft co-founder and CEO Yves Guillemot, Warner Bros. Interactive president David Haddad along with Valve and Rockstar.

Last year’s event was a fun yet inconsistent stream of awards and announcements, so it should be worth tuning in this year if you have the chance.

The awards will take place at 2am GMT on December 4, 2015.
