The Division will receive three expansions and free updates after launch

Ubisoft’s has plenty of post-launch content planned for The Division, including three major expansions and a bunch of free updates.

The Division doesn’t launch until March, but Ubisoft is already preparing plenty of DLC to launch throughout 2016.

There will be three major expansions included with The Division’s season pass, these being Underground, Survival and Last Stand.

Ubisoft has provided a few details for the first two expansions, but kept quiet about Last Stand, which will be the final expansion to arrive.

The three expansions will launch “over the course of the year,” following The Division’s release on March 8.

If you fancy a few little details on the first two expansions, you can find them below.

Underground:

  • This first major expansion opens up a new area to players as they explore the uncharted underworld of New York City with up to four friends for intense co-op action.

Survival:

  • In this expansion, players will have to survive as long as possible in a very hostile environment that will challenge even the most talented agents.

The Division’s three paid expansions will be available as part of the game’s season pass. You can also purchase each of them separately when they’re available.

All buyers of the season pass will also receive unique weapons, skins and outfits for use in the game. They will also be invited to “special events and content drops,” though we aren’t exactly sure what these will entail.
