Tom Clancy’s The Division release date has been confirmed, with the game landing on March 8, 2016.
Over three years since the game was originally announced, we finally have a release date for The Division.
It might not be until early next year, but at least the game is nearing completion.
Plus, for those of you eager to get your hands on the game, there are cross-platform betas coming early next year.
To celebrate the release date news, Ubisoft has shown off fresh The Division gameplay showcasing how you’ll need to navigate the Dark Zone of New York
Although you can choose not to work with other members as you take down enemies, you should aim to work in teams of four to tackle rebel forces in the Dark Zone.

The Division gameplay shown off during Ubisoft’s E3 2015 press conference gives us a fresh look at the technology and weaponry you’ll get to play with during the game.
In the Dark Zone you can collect precious loot from downed rebels, which you might want to hold on to. This could influence your decision as to how to tackle the next group you meet.
The live demo saw the team come up against some “Cleaners” – i.e some guys with flamethrowers – and they decided to avoid them to protect their loot.
Of course, doing that is a bit of a dick move. But everything’s to play for in The Division’s post-apocalyptic dystopia.
What’s interesting is that you can actually turn on your teammates if you so wish. Turning rogue can be beneficial of course, as you’ll be able to grab the loot you’d helped obtain previously.
