Halo 5’s new Cartographer’s Gift update brings a new Forge mode, maps and weapons to the online multi-player.
343 Industries has rolled out yet another substantial update for Halo 5: Guardians, bringing all new maps, weapons and customisation options to the online multi-player.
The biggest addition in the Cartographer’s Gift update is the all new Forge mode, which many players have been waiting for since launch.
Players will receive an abundance of new REQ items, which include new weapons, XP bonuses and customisation options for your online avatar.

The update also adds advanced controller settings, giving you greater control and precision over how you play online.
All of these new settings are competitive-friendly, and won’t give you an unfair advantage over those who choose to ignore them.
Two new maps include Overgrowth and The Battle of Noctus. Both of which take place on the human colony of Andesia, if you need a little context for your online adventures.

Halo 5’s all-new Forge mode is the most ambitious ever seen in the franchise, with more than 1,700 unique objects at your disposal.
These objects can be used to create a variety of landscapes, challenges and environments for you to play in either online or in custom game modes.
343 Industries has plans to continually update Forge mode with new objects, maps and tools, so it has a long life ahead of it.
Halo 5: Guardians is available now exclusively on Xbox One.
