Logitech has announced a new keyboard case for Apple’s premium 9.7-inch iPad Pro tablet.
The peripheral specialist had already launched a version of its Create Keyboard Case for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Now it’s released a smaller version for the 9.7-inch model.
As with the larger model, the Create Keyboard Case offers all-round protection (front and back) and mechanical scissor keys with 1.4mm of key travel. It hooks up to the iPad Pro using Apple’s Smart Connectors, which means that you don’t need to pair it over Bluetooth, nor does it need to be charged.

Two more neat features of the Logitech Create Keyboard Case: it’s backlit, like a laptop keyboard, and it also has a dedicated place to stash your Apple Pencil – something even Apple didn’t think to include with its own Smart Keyboard.
Another neat thing about the Create is its row of dedicated iOS shortcut keys along the top – so you can do thinks like change the volume, skip tracks, and bump up the brightness without fiddling around with the iPad Pro itself.
