Telltale’s The Walking Dead season 3 release date revealed

The Walking Dead is set to return with season three in the Autumn across all platforms, Telltale revealed at PAX.

Telltale got everyone talking at PAX last weekend when they teased fans with a release window and name for the new series.

The Walking Dead: A Telltale series – A new Frontier will be released in November.

What’s more, the game will be premiered on console but fans can expect to play it on PC, Mac and mobile, too. Although this should be taken with a pinch of salt remembering the lengthy delay in Telltale’s mobile Batman release.

The series has been hugely popular with fans and critics alike. Its clever writing and immersive storyline – both tense and heartbreaking in equal measure – made it Telltale’s most downloaded game to date.

It’s been two years since the last release and fans are ready to step back into the heartbreaking zombie apocalypse.

Season three will see gamers play as long-standing protagonist Clem and new-guy Javier. The game is set to be a new entry point for gamers who have never played before and aren’t well versed in the story.
