TalkTalk Mobile is launching Britain's lowest priced mobile plan with a price of just £3.50 a month.
The budget fee covers a SIM-only deal of 100 minutes, 250 texts and 100MB of data on either a 12 month contract or a commitment-free month-by-month basis.
The mobile network launched just a year ago and has gained 200,000 smartphone and SIM only customers with its value-for-money schemes.
TalkTalk's newest low-cost price plan comes as part of a company-wide tariff refresh. It is also adding more minutes, texts and data to existing tariffs.
The firm's "Large" plan now comes with unlimited calls and texts for the first time as well as 4GB of data. "Medium" users are also being given unlimited texts and 500 minutes as well as 1-Gigabyte of data.
"A big appeal of TalkTalk Mobile is our firm value for money position. We offer some of the most premium handsets available for the most competitive price," said Dan Meader from TalkTalk.
"With more handsets than people out there, our SIM only price plans are perfect for people who want to keep their current handset or hand it down to their children, without having to take a pricey contract. We want people to have more choice and flexibility.”
