Sick of being able to sync just one Google calendar on your Windows Phone 7 handset? Well then today is a good day for you as the Google Sync Team has rolled out the ability to sync multiple calendars but only on phones with the Mango update.
Multiple Calendars is a feature that lets you select which of your Google Calendars are synced to your device. Just navigate to m.google.com/sync on your phone’s browser and configure the calendars you would like to see.
Syncing multiple Google calendars is a feature iPhone and of course Android users have been enjoying for a while and something which is sure to please many Windows Phone 7 users.
We carried out the syncing this morning in the office on our Lumia 710 and it worked flawlessly, letting us assign some funky colours to each calendar.
However that was not the only new feature rolled out by the team at Google. You can now also configure which addresses you send mail as if you have custom addresses in Gmail.
They’ve also improved search to look beyond the conversations that are stored locally on your device so that you are able to “find more of your conversations, faster.”
Are these features something you’ve been waiting for? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
