Good news for Steam Machine owners, or the small number of you out there who are regular users of Valve’s SteamOS.
Capcom has confirmed that its upcoming fighting sequel will support both SteamOS and the Steam controller at launch.
Valve’s SteamOS is based on a variation of Linux, and the company continues to add new titles to the platform on a regular basis.
You can expect Street Fighter 5 to support traditional mouse and keyboard controls on PC, as well as a variety of different gamepads.

Capcom has also confirmed that all Street Fighter 5 updates will be free, and future DLC can be earned in-game using a unique currency.
Street Fighter 5 plans to take a “service-based” approach to post-launch content, with a multitude of characters and stages planned for future updates.
The anticipated fighter will launch with 16 playable characters; consisting of old favourites and new faces.
Street Fighter 5 will launch on February 16, 2016 for PS4 and PC.
