Working titles can be a little odd, but this apparent Star Wars codename is positively grizzly…
The “secret working title” for Star Wars Episode 8 is “Space Bear”, apparently.
The alleged codename was revealed in a new report on casting for the upcoming Star Wars flick, courtesy of MovieCastingCall.org.
According to the report, casting for “Space Bear” extras and photo doubles has already kicked off.
The film is already confirmed to be now entering principal photography, with shooting taking place at Pinewood Studios in London, England – as well as other unconfirmed locations.
Interestingly, the “Space Bear” moniker has actually cropped up before, specifically in an article from September last year.
Lucasfilm is no stranger to curious working titles; The Force Awakens is alleged to have been filmed under the title of “Foodles Production Ltd”.
The prequel trilogy, meanwhile, was produced under the name “JAK Productions”, while Return of the Jedi had the working title “Blue Harvest”.

Star Wars Episode VIII isn’t due to release until 2017, a year-and-a-half after the release of The Force Awakens.
However, fans will be partially sated by the upcoming release of Star Wars: Rogue One, due to arrive in cinemas at the end of 2016.
Do you think ‘Space Bear’ is really the working title for the next Star Wars movie? Let us know in the comments.
