Following the earlier Amazon UK listing, Sony has confirmed in a statement that the Glacier White PS4 will be available to purchase on Friday.
Original Story: The standalone Glacier White PS4 release date has been tipped as October 17 by Amazon UK.
According to the Amazon UK website, the Glacier White PS4 is coming out as a standalone product on October 17.
Sony previously confirmed to TrustedReviews that it would launch the special Destiny and DriveClub Glacier White PS4 before Christmas, but couldn’t give us a specific date.
“We do have plans [to launch the white PS4 separately] and plans before Christmas, but
“We haven’t quite dated that yet, but it’ll be prior to Christmas.”
Well, it seem that Amazon has pipped Sony to the post and revealed the Glacier White PS4 will launch on October 17, which is just days away.
Sony recently announced that the PS4 sales across the world had reached 10 million, with UK specific sales already past the 1 million mark.
Those milestones were achieved within nine months of launch, making the PS4 one of the fastest selling consoles in history.
