Sony Xperia Z3

It’s been a busy period for Sony, with the launch of the Sony Xperia Z3, Sony Xperia Z3 Compact and the Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact.

Although we don’t know the precise release date of the Xperia Z3 as yet, some retailers are starting to announce initial availability for the latest Sony flagship.

Check out the currently available information below and we’ll update it as soon as we have fresh information from networks and retailers.

Keep this page bookmarked for all the latest Sony Xperia Z3 deals.

EE

As with the new Samsung Galaxy Note 4, EE has been quick to confirm it will stock the Sony Xperia Z3.

From September 4, customers can pre-order both the Z3 and the Z3 Compact from EE stores on a 4GEE or 4GEE Extra plan.

Actual pricing and contract details have yet to be announced though.

“Sony’s Xperia handsets have always showcase the very best in mobile performance, and the latest range does not disappoint,” said Nicola Shenton, Head of Devices Portfolio at EE. “When combined with the UK’s biggest 4G network, customers can really get the most from their latest Xperia in more places than any other network.”

Phones 4u

The Sony Xperia Z3 will be available from Phones 4u exclusively in white. It is available to pre-order now though from the Phones 4u website. http://www.phones4u.co.uk/sony/xperia/z3

It will be free on £38.50 per month Vodafone 4G contracts when the Z3 launches at the end of September.

Carphone Warehouse

Carphone Warehouse will also have an exclusive Sony Xperia Z3 colour – green.

Although pricing and details haven’t been confirmed yet, at least you know you can grab one at Carphone Warehouse come the release date.

“Sony has produced yet another series of powerful handsets to add to the already impressive Xperia portfolio,” said a Carphone Warehouse spokesperson. “The new smartphones and tablet combine the best of Sony’s expertise, by including innovations from both their audio visual and gaming business and integrating these into their new devices.”

Three

Three has also confirmed that it will stock both the Xperia Z3 and the Xperia Z3 Compact, although can't give us any information on when the phones will arrive or on what contracts they will be offered on.

O2

O2 has opened up a "Keep me in the Loop" page for the Xperia Z3 on its website, allowing you to register your interest ahead of the release date.

It will stock the handset in mint silver and black on its O2 Refresh tariffs.

We’ll continuously update this page when we get any more details on the retail availability and stockists for the Sony Xperia Z3.

All the above information is correct at the time of writing, and when additional retailers announce availability we’ll update accordingly.

How does Sony hope to compete with Samsung or LG or even Oppo with what it is now offering.
The Z3 will be typically expensive and use dated technology.
My surround sound system is Sony and I have a PS3, but this is where my association ends unless this corporation can seriously play catchup.

Samsung have plastic phones with a terrible UI
LG have very nice but again plastic phones with a terrible UI
Sony have amazing screens, quality materials, amazing build quality, good cameras, and a UI that's an improved version of stock without bloatware.
So I'm not quite sure what your point is.
