Sony has announced it will hold a Playstation VR event next month where we could finally get a price and release date.
The long-awaited VR headset was originally tipped for a ‘first half of 2016’ release, and it looks like Sony might be sticking to that promise.
Taking place on March 15 in San Francisco, the press event will consist of a presentation followed by hands-on demos of the new tech.
Sony has yet to confirm a price or release date for Playstation VR but that could change come March 15.

The headset was originally announced two years ago, with Sony revealing it at the annual Game Developers Conference in 2014.
Initally called Project Morpheus, Playstation VR is expected to give rivals the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive a run for their money.
While the other headsets require powerful PCs in order to use, Sony’s headset will connect directly to the PS4, making it a much more accessible piece of hardware for the casual gamer.
