Sony has introduced a new reward for PlayStation Plus members, offering regular sales on top new games.
The new initiative, which Sony is dubbing PS Plus Specials, can be seen as a response to Microsoft's similar Xbox Deals with Gold. Just like that deal, PS Plus Specials offers more regular savings on games and downloadable content for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
These offers will be strictly time-limited, but will provide savings of up to 30 percent (but typically 20 percent, it seems) on major new(ish) titles.
The first examples listed over on the PlayStation blog include 20 percent off the price of Bloodborne and The Order:1886 until June 1. It also extends to other Sony platforms, with the likes of Dark Souls II: Scholar Of The First Sin available cheaper to PS3 gamers as well as on PS4.
There are also exclusive DLC bundles on Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, Dragon Ball Xenoverse, and Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines.

We're getting a sense of deja vu here, but there is one major snag to this new initiative - it's US-only at present.
We presume that Sony will be extending the PS Plus Specials offer to the UK and beyond before too long, but right now we'll have to sit and watch as our US cousins scoop up all the bargains.
