IFA, Berlin: Sony held its press conference at IFA in Berlin this afternoon and among other major
announcements, revealed its latest Xperia smartphone.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S is set to build on the
company’s current flagship Android smartphone, the Xperia Arc. The new Arc S promises 25 per cent “faster entertainment” due to a
faster 1.4GHz processor.
It will also feature a 3D sweep panorama photo mode which
promises to create 3D
images using the 8 megapixel camera on the rear. Other than than the Arc S is practically identical to the original Arc, retaining its dimensions, including the 8.7mm thickness.
Arc S customers, like all Xperia customers in 2011, will now
have access to the Music Unlimited and Video Unlimited services giving you access to million
of songs and TV shows and movies from all the major studios – all for a fee of course
The Arc S is obviously an evolution rather than revolution
in the Xperia line but our team on the ground will be going hands-on with the
handset in Berlin to bring you all the details on the Arc S.
