Sony has announced its newest range of home cinema systems, including the stylish Sony BDV-N7100W jam-packed with new features to improve your TV entertainment experience.
The striking home cinema system, available in black or white inspired by Sony's new "Sense of Quartz" design theme, features premium sound quality, state of the art 4K technology and easy Wi-Fi connectivity to other online devices in your home.
Sony BDV-N7100W Features
The Sony BDV-N7100W features Sony’s revolutionary Magnetic Fluid Speaker technology, that uses a ferrofluid material developed by NASA to achieve a more accurate and revealing sound than previous models. With Sony claiming you will notice the difference, you will be able to enjoy your favourite movie quotes in the clearest of detail and pump your music at speaker-pounding levels with rich bass tones and no distortion. Improved wireless rear speakers will also help to keep your living room clutter free.
Especially designed with sports fans in mind, Sony’s N-Series, including the Sony BDV-N7100W, home cinema systems now come with Football Mode, which allows users to achieve a stadium experience without having to brave the cold. At the touch of a button, you can mute the commentator so you can focus on the action of the beautiful game, or if you aren’t a football fan, Football Mode can be utilised to enhance the viewing experience of other sports like F1 or rugby.
Those excited by the clarity of 4K will be happy to hear the Sony BDV-N7100W can boost your movie collection to the stunning visuals of 4K through the Blu-Ray and DVD players when played on a 4K TV.
If you’re planning a party, you can use the Sony BDV-N7100W to wirelessly stream all your music from any NFC or Bluetooth-enabled Android smartphone or tablet, by simply tapping it against the home cinema system.
The Sony N-Series also features built in Wi-Fi to connect your Sony BDV-N7100W to other home devices, including networked PCs so you can enjoy streamed HD videos on the biggest screen in the house. The in-built Wi-Fi allows you to explore Sony’s online content via the Sony Entertainment Network, for instant access to on-demand movies and TV shows, music and ad-free radio channels, as well as access to streaming services such as LoveFilm and BBC iPlayer.
Sony’s free TV SideView app available on Android or iOS is compatible with the Sony BDV-N7100W, making it easy to control your home cinema system from a tablet or smartphone including the company's own Sony Xperia U, so you can browse programme listing, online services or access more information about the TV show or film you’re watching without interrupting the programme.
Sony BDV-N7100W Release Date and Price
Although Sony has yet to announce the Sony BDV-N7100W’s price, the new home cinema system is due to hit UK stores from May.
