Snapchat lens store lets you buy rainbow puke forever

Can’t get enough of sending rainbow puke videos to your mates? We’ve got some good news.

Snapchat has launched a brand new lens store, where users can buy animated swipe-on, swipe-off overlays for their snaps.

Until now, Snapchat only offered lenses on a rotating schedule that included around seven lenses per day.

Snapchat plans to continue this rota, but you’ll also be able to purchase your favourites to use whenever you like.

Each filter costs $0.99 to buy, and marks a growing effort by Snapchat to monetise its immensely popular service.

Snapchat also recently added a “replay” feature, which allowed users to pay money to replay snaps – normally they can only be viewed once before disappearing.

To access the new lens store, just long-press your face and click on the store menu.

Snapchat will be selling 30 lenses every day, including new, never-before-seen lenses.

The store is available in select locations, as reported by The Verge, which include: the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, and some European countries.

However, it’s tipped that more countries will soon gain access to the feature.
